Classic Automation Breaks Ground on Warehouse Expansion

July 11, 2019, Webster NY – Classic Automation LLC announces the groundbreaking for a 50 percent expansion to its already sizable warehouse at 800 Salt Road, Webster. The property was previously used by Xerox. This increase in storage capacity allows for a wider range of product and service offerings. The company currently boasts a staggering catalog of over 300,000 unique control system parts, operator panels, power supplies, drives, and servo motors.

The 12,000 square foot addition is expected to be ready by December of 2019 and increases the total square footage to 53,000. The current building houses offices, test/repair facilities, and a warehouse. This is a far cry from the 12,000 square foot Monroe Avenue Rochester facility that Classic Automation outgrew in 2013 before moving to Webster.

“As our company continues to grow, the need for expansion is inevitable” says Fritz Ruebeck, CEO of Classic Automation LLC. “We are in the emergency parts business. To support our customers with downed production, we need to provide as many unique automation parts as possible, in stock, for same-day shipment.”
