Civitas Wireless Solutions Delivers Expanded Product Offerings for Municipal Markets

DENVER, Aug. 7 - Civitas Wireless Solutions announced today the expansion of their municipal product set for wireless solutions to include service offerings for:

o Turn-key wireless system delivery for both public and public safety
solutions,

o Wireless network consulting services, including business consulting for
operating models and network architecture;

o Managed services for customer support and network operations
management.

Augmenting their wireless solution set, Civitas is also partnering with leading providers in the renewable energy, video surveillance and public safety sectors to deliver additional value in conjunction with the wireless infrastructure.

"We are excited about the opportunity to expand our service offerings to the municipal wireless market," said Judi Evans, President and CEO of Civitas. "Wireless access models in municipalities continue to evolve; however, the emphasis on building sustainable wireless networks, both ecologically and economically, is the core to a successful network. As municipalities move forward to deliver wireless to their communities, they need a knowledgeable, experienced partner to help design, build and effectively manage their systems and provide with it applications that drive economic incentives and public safety."

"Our focus on managed services allows us to partner with our municipal clients to create state-of-the-art wireless networks for a variety of municipal applications," Evans said. "In addition, it also provides the opportunity for system integrators and other engineering and installation firms to partner with our team to deliver turn key solutions for their clients."

Civitas Wireless Solutions, LLC, recently announced the acquisition of the Denver operations of Ricochet Networks, Inc. Ricochet's Denver operations included a metropolitan scale wireless network in the Denver metro area, with approximately 6000 users. Ricochet Networks has been at the cutting edge of wireless internet technology, and the services necessary to implement that technology in a way to create satisfied customer experiences and substantial brand loyalty, for over 10 years. Earlier this year Ricochet announced its broadband wireless services offerings with WiFi project in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver, CO, and a partnership with AEPCO to deliver WiFi services to the Town Square in Rockville, MD.
