Citect creates Chief Operations Officer role and appoints the President of the American sales group

Sydney, Australia - Citect announces the creation of the new role of Chief Operations Officer and the appointment of Darren Trumeter in the new role. Mr. Trumeter will oversee Citect's expanded global sales organization and report directly to the CEO, Richard Webb.
A number of key initiatives have been recently introduced to improve Citect's sales execution, product development innovation, professional services, and support and training service levels. Mr. Webb will continue to directly oversee the product development, professional services and support and training groups. Mr. Trumeter will be responsible for further enhancing Citect's sales execution globally. Reporting to Darren will be the regional sales teams and a small team in Sydney responsible for global key accounts, partner programs, and the CRM system.
While the company's revenue momentum and sales pipeline is at an all time high it is critical that the momentum continues into 2006 through a number of key initiatives which include the expansion of the number of direct sales regions from 5 to 10, and the execution of global key account, OEM, and partner program strategies.

Darren has served as president of the Citect's Americas region since July 2003 and was instrumental in securing several large Fortune 500 key accounts and the establishment of a strong indirect sales channel. As Chief Operations Officer, Darren will continue to be based in the United States and work from Citect's North American sales office in Alpharetta near Atlanta, Georgia.
