Chromalox to Unveil New Brand Positioning at POWER-GEN International Show

Chromalox's POWER-GEN International agenda includes a new branding reveal, Thought Leadership presentations and DirectConnect™ and XtremeDuty™ product technology platforms

PITTSBURGH - Chromalox, a leader in advanced thermal technologies, will unveil new brand positioning at the POWER-GEN International Show on December 9, 2014. Alongside a new company logo and positioning, Chromalox will introduce the company's Process Heating, Temperature Management, and Component Heating Solution segments.

"We've reinvented the brand that invented the electric heating industry and POWER-GEN is the perfect venue to showcase our updated brand positioning for our target markets," said Troy Dixon, Vice President Marketing Business Development. "Our goal with rebranding is to position Chromalox as a leader in advance thermal technologies engineered for world's toughest industrial heating application while leading the industry into a new century of growth and innovation."

In addition to the updated brand roll out, Chromalox will host thought leadership presentations on December 10(th) in booth #2601. Led by, Chris Molnar, Chromalox Vice President of Industrial Heaters Systems, and Rob Coburn, Global Product Manager for Industrial Air Heaters, the informative presentations will highlight new product technology platforms DirectConnect™ and XtremeDuty™. The "Maximize Power Efficiency and Profitability through DirectConnect™ Medium Voltage Electric Heating Technology" presentation will be held at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. "XtremeDuty™: Applying Heat in the Harshest Environments" will be held at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

DirectConnect™ medium voltage electric heating systems drastically reduce installation and operating costs while providing pollution-free operation for process heating. The DirectConnect™ solution additionally adds lowered safety concerns, minimal maintenance and accurate temperature control for heating systems in heavy industries including power generation, oil and gas, petrochemical and chemical.

Chromalox DirectConnect™ heating systems bring a safe and reliable technical design for metal-sheathed electric process heating and power controls for heating systems operating at medium voltages. These patent-pending, Chromalox DirectConnect™ medium voltage electric heating systems capture all the advantages of electric process heat while offering significant cost savings over low voltage, high amperage designs.

Chromalox XtremeDuty™ heating applications allow operations to survive the harshest conditions on the planet. With the most rugged and reliable engineering available, Chromalox XtremeDuty™ greatly decreases risk, downtime and operating costs and eliminates doubt and uncertainty from challenging environmental operations.

Both DirectConnect™ and XtremeDuty™ product technology platforms will be on display and presented on the POWER-GEN show floor.

"As evidenced by our new product technology platforms and thought leadership presentations, Chromalox continues to focus on investing in advanced thermal technologies supporting our customer needs," added Dixon. "At Chromalox we are dedicated to providing unique solutions to difficult and challenging problems that our customers encounter everyday."
