Centrify Joins PCI Security Vendor Alliance

Centrify to Present Compliance Solutions at PCI SVA Webinar on February 13

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Jan. 29 -- Centrify Corporation, a leading provider of Microsoft Active Directory-centric identity management solutions for Linux, UNIX and Mac, has joined the Payment Card Industry Security Vendor Alliance (PCI SVA) as a Gold member. Centrify's identity management and user audit solutions help increase IT security and streamline PCI DSS compliance reporting for enterprises with heterogeneous systems, applications and databases. Centrify will be describing how customers can meet their PCI requirements for access control and auditing during a PCI SVA sponsored webinar on February 13, 2008 at 2 pm ET. The webinar, entitled "Deadlines Passed, But Merchants Still Out of Compliance" safenet-inc.com/email/webinar/pci/PCI_Domestic_Webinar_Deadline_Passed.htm will address the major issues facing merchants as they strive for compliance, and explore the tactics used to overcome those issues.

"The PCI SVA delivers an important service to organizations processing payment cards, providing them a central reference for the software solutions that will help them become compliant with PCI regulations," said Jim Chappell, vice president of worldwide operations at Centrify. "Our customers have adopted Centrify solutions to increase their security, improve their IT efficiency and help comply with rules."

Centrify DirectControl effectively turns a non-Microsoft server, workstation or device into an Active Directory client, enabling an organization to secure non-Microsoft platforms using the same authentication, authorization and Group Policy services deployed for its Windows environment. Centrify DirectAudit complements DirectControl by delivering auditing, logging and real-time monitoring of user activity on non-Microsoft systems. Together, they help organizations improve IT efficiency, better comply with regulatory requirements, and move toward a more secure, connected infrastructure for their heterogeneous computing environment.

In addition to the webinar, Centrify will also participate in the PCI SVA pavilion at the RSA Conference April 7-11th in San Francisco as well as in its own booth, 2059.
