Central Maintenance and Welding Achieves Successful ASME & National Board Review

September 19, 2008 (Lithia, Florida) - In recent weeks, Central Maintenance and Welding, Inc. (CMW) has received renewed certifications by The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and The National Board of Boiler & Pressure Vessel Inspectors.

The "R", "S", and "U" stamps issued by The National Board and ASME respectively authorize CMW to repair, manufacture and assemble pressure vessels and power boilers at their fabrication facility and field sites controlled by CMW. In order to achieve this status, CMW has to satisfy rigorous documentation requirements as well as meet stringent work performance standards.

"Though we have held these important industry stamps previously," stated Ken O'Berry, CMW's Quality Manager, "with these important renewals, our customers can be reassured of our consistent ability to deliver superior products with shop fabrication and field site work."

"We complement this with our new Engineering Division," added Chris Pearson, CMW's Director of Engineering. He further noted that "just one brief example of this includes our utilization of Codeware COMPRESS software to design and validate pressure vessels to current ASME codes."
