CDM Electronics Now Certified to IPC620 & J-STD-001 Military Soldering Standards for Electronic Cable Assembly


July 9, 2007, Turnersville, NJ .... CDM Electronics, Inc., a leading distributor of commercial and military (MIL-SPEC) interconnect products, and premier provider of military cable assemblies, today announced full certification to the IPC-WHMA-A 620 military standards and J STD-001 for soldering.The standards encompass requirements for acceptance for cable assembly and wire harness fabrication. "These certifications demonstrate our commitment to the highest quality for our military
customer base...", stated Production Manager, Laurie Burger. Ms. Burger went on to say, "...these added skills and compliance with these standards will also greatly benefit our medical and commercial accounts."

The training was performed by the American Competitiveness Institute (http://www.aciusa.org/) and was completed successfully by nine staff members who are now certified IPC Specialists. Those members include: Cassie Patton, Chris Shaffer, Ernie Uibel, James Scullin, Jr., Joe Ambrozaitis,Krystyna Zaremba, Mark Henry, Penny Burton and Traci Krause.
