Casio's LampFree® Projectors Brighten up Classrooms in Phoenix Union High School District
Casio and ImmediaEdu Installed More Than 1,400 Signature Projectors Across All Campuses
DOVER, N.J. – Today, educators are tasked with choosing viable technologies to integrate into the classroom that are not only engaging, but also portable, easy-to-use and, most importantly, cost-effective. As part of an overall engagement initiative, the Phoenix Union High School district in Arizona wanted to replace existing and inefficient classroom projectors with a bulb-less, green solution; to do so, the Phoenix Union High School district sought out ImmediaEdu - a company specializing in integrated AV systems and interactive classrooms to improve student achievement and teacher effectiveness- to help find high-quality, low maintenance projectors for ongoing classroom use. With the help of ImmediaEdu, located in Phoenix, AZ, the Phoenix Union High School district installed 1,480 of Casio's Signature XJ-M250 projectors across all of its campuses, which accounts for 16 schools with more than 27,000 students and nearly 3,000 employees.
ImmediaEdu recommended Casio's Signature XJ-M250 projectors because they are LampFree® and they run on Casio's state-of-the-art LASER & LED Hybrid Light Source. This means that expensive lamps - which typically cost almost as much as the original projector over the course of one year - do not need to be replaced every few months. With the projectors having an estimated lifespan of 20,000 hours, Phoenix Union schools can run the projectors as often as necessary.

Casio's Signature XJ-M250 LampFree® projectors are DLP™ 3D ready and can display 3D content from a 3D capable computer. Educators can engage students on an entirely new level by bringing challenging lessons and lectures to life with vivid and exciting images that jump off the screen. Educators can also convert and view their own 2D material with the optional 2D-3D conversion software, which will help produce imaginative and relevant visuals and lesson materials. Additionally, the Intelligent Brightness Control features an ECO function which conserves power while illuminating sharp imagery, automatically adjusting the brightness to suit the environmental lighting conditions of any lecture hall and classroom.
Casio's warranty program offers three years parts and labor coverage and several of the models offer a warranty on the LASER & LED Hybrid Light Source for up to five years or 10,000 hours With Casio's Extra Value Warranty Program, educators can use the projector for approximately 1,000 hours per school year, which equals 10 years of total operation.
