CAS DataLoggers Exhibits at Pittcon 2013

Showcasing TD Data Loggers with Remote Data Collection CHESTERLAND OH

CAS DataLoggers has just returned from Pittcon 2013, held March 17–21 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA. A longtime exhibitor since 2006, this year CAS DataLoggers set up at the T&D booth to show attendees how to cut costs and save time using automated monitoring/alarming and remote data transfer. In light of increasing regulatory pressures such as Title 21 CFR Part 11, you can now have proof of full regulatory compliance and printout full electronic documentation. For this year’s show, CAS DataLoggers Applications Specialist Anthony Boyer was on hand offering convention-goers a wide range of products for their life science applications.

Pittcon is the world's largest annual conference and exposition for laboratory science, attracting over 17,000 attendees from industry, academia and government representing 90 countries around the world. This year, we showcased our latest data logging technology for the life sciences, environmental chemistry, and food safety applications. Our T&D wireless data loggers are especially suited to these critical uses, including medical fridge and freezer monitoring of vaccines in storage and monitoring lab/environmental airspace. These compact data loggers monitor many different parameters including temperature, humidity, voltage/current and more, and are available in wireless, USB and Ethernet models. Our wireless base station automatically aggregates the data from compatible wireless data loggers out to a 500ft range unobstructed indoors.

These compact datalogging products provide cost-effective monitoring and feature built-in wireless communication capabilities for quick data downloads and instant online accessibility. There’s no need to install cabling or to travel to collect your data, and the data loggers also perform automated alarm monitoring via email or SMS messaging. Additionally, you can also choose from several models of T&D’S handheld data collectors for convenient data retrieval.

Our new T&D Networked Temperature Data Loggers attracted a lot of attention this year. These devices can be used over a wired LAN network allowing you to remotely monitor data and warnings from your PC or mobile device. Storing and archiving all your temperature data has never been easier. These data loggers take temperature measurements on 2 channels using an external temperature sensor with a measuring range from -40°C up to 110°C (-40°F to 230°F). This is ideal for many medical monitoring needs and high-value storage applications.

By making settings in the data logger, you can periodically have temperature readings sent to you automatically via FTP or E-mail, making it possible to check data without the need for an onsite PC. The data logger’s wired LAN network connection ensures you get Alarm Messages instantly sent by e-mail to your PC or Mobile Device. You’ll also get FREE online storage with the provided T&D Webstorage Service. This popular cloud storage and sharing service provides long-term storage space for our customers’ files, up to 20MB. It’s a great way to instantly view, save, and print all your data.

CAS DataLoggers Applications Specialist Anthony Boyer commented on the usefulness of automated data collection: “This year our visitors were highly interested in the ability to let our T&D loggers push all the data to the online web service and report alarms the same way. No matter what industry they came from, everyone saw how they could save time and labor using remote monitoring.”
