CAS DataLoggers Announces Firmware Update for Accsense B1-06 Gateways

New Update Resolves Previous Wireless Connection Issues

CHESTERLAND OH — CAS DataLoggers is announcing a new firmware update for the Accsense B1-06 Wireless Data Logger Gateways. The update resolves a prior issue with corrupted wireless connection when inside areas experiencing large amounts of wireless traffic. This had occasionally caused sporadic connection problems. The new firmware has resolved this with the addition of a watchdog timer which restarts the processor in the event of a communication error. Now connections are immediately re-established in these events, with all buffered data saved to the Accsense cloud servers. The update is now completed and is being introduced into gateway production shortly.

CAS DataLoggers offers its Accsense wireless monitoring systems for many critical applications including medical monitoring, supply chain alarm and general industry. Accsense has the ability to view and remotely access data in real-time, transmitting recorded temperature data online for easy storage and analysis. Using a standard web browser, users can sign in to access reports and graphs or modify the system configuration from anywhere an internet connection is available. Users can also grant password-protected, limited access to other operators, and all data sent online can be downloaded as a CSV file and loaded into most database applications including Excel.

Accsense features advanced functionality giving users online graphing, reporting, and configuration features essential for compliance with regulations such as 21-CFR part 11 and legal liability by closely monitoring and recording sensitive products in storage. All the wireless system requires is an RJ45 Ethernet connection with open internet access to start recording, removing the need to install extensive wiring.

Forming the connection between the user's data and the internet, the wireless gateway features built-in 10/100BaseT Ethernet and supports up to 16 sensor pods. The Accsense wireless system ranges out to 250 feet unobstructed and 90' indoors, and its 1900-point sample buffer automatically backs up the data in case of emergencies.

These wireless gateways connect to Accsense dataloggers and automatically send their recorded data to a completely secure cloud server, where it is immediately stored and available to view in real-time using a backed-up online Accsense Account. Measurement data can also be downloaded for offline analysis.

Users can also set sophisticated alarms to watch their data. The secure servers send out voice, text or email alerts to inform all authorized staff the moment that a temperature or other reading falls out of range. The same alarm can even be sent to multiple locations! No other product on the market has this level of functionality for the cost, and CAS DataLoggers is now offering these systems for a wide variety of industry needs.
