CAS and T&D To Attend Upcoming 2012 AHR Expo

CAS DataLoggers along with high-quality manufacturer T&D are proud to announce their upcoming attendance at the 64th Annual 2012 International Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigerating Exposition on Jan 23rd-25th at McCormick Place North and South, Chicago, Illinois. CAS is attending for the 3rd year running, and this year's AHR expo promises to be the largest ever, hosting over 1,800 manufacturers and suppliers of the latest HVAC&R systems, equipment, products and services from over 30 countries around the world. Over 50,000 attendees including contractors, engineers, facility managers, OEMs, and other industry professionals have a great opportunity to check out the latest T&D datalogging products monitoring temperature, humidity, voltage and current among other crucial parameters. These intelligent dataloggers will be on display at the world's largest HVAC&R marketplace to help customers to reduce their labor costs, secure an advantage in job bidding, and entirely eliminate time-intensive manual recording.

CAS offers T&D wireless and wired temperature monitoring systems which are ideal for monitoring furnaces, ovens, refrigerators, freezers and cryostats. These compact, rugged dataloggers range from battery-operated portable models for troubleshooting intermittent faults to advanced monitoring systems that collect and automatically transmit data from remote sites and provide timely alarming. These cost-effective solutions are ideal for projects monitoring HVAC&R performance, energy efficiency, facilities monitoring, specialized climate control systems, performance of alternative HVAC systems, to name only a few.

At this year's show, CAS incorporates systems specifically designed for the industry's needs, including models that can be customized to utilize 2 inputs or more than 100 inputs depending on the application's requirements. T&D RTR-500 series data loggers are equipped with built-in wireless communication capability to measure many different physical values, including the RTR-505-V wireless voltage data logger which measures and records voltage signals from several types of sensors and measuring devices. Two types of recording methods (instantaneous or average) are available, and the datalogger is equipped with a preheat function that transmits a preheat signal synchronized with the recording interval to turn sensors or other devices ON and OFF.

T&D's wireless log-EZ series is designed for heating and cooling management in homes, office buildings and for managing temperature and humidity in wine production and storage. These data loggers provide low-cost, hassle-free temperature and humidity monitoring with a 50-meter wireless communication range, and it's easy to manage data recorded by multiple log-EZ units placed in distant rooms using just one computer. Their wireless communication makes data transmission easy with no need for cables or manually gathering the log-EZ units to collect data.

CAS and T&D will also be unveiling an industry first: the all-new TR-76Ui CO2 + Temperature + Humidity Logger. This economical multipurpose model is a three-channel datalogger which simultaneously measures and records CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity. This flexible new datalogger has a wide CO2 measurement range of up to 5,000 ppm and a logging capacity of 8,000 data sets. These dataloggers also feature a warning monitoring function with contact signal output. Free software is included which allows users to download data recorded by the device to a PC via USB connection, whereby data from all three channels can be simultaneously viewed in one easy-to-read graph or table. Users can also save data as text for use with common spreadsheet software.

CAS Applications Specialists will be on hand at the T&D Corp. Booth #3976 to offer solution suggestions directed toward the air conditioning, heating and refrigeration industries. Pete Martin, Sales Manager for CAS DataLoggers, explained the AHR show's appeal: "The industry's constant need for improved energy efficiency and sustainable technology has directly inspired these new datalogging products. In this tough economy, businesses have to find ways to cut costs without sacrificing accuracy and alarm protection, and T&D's wireless and wired data loggers combine those needs to provide our customers with reliable, automated monitoring. With that in mind we're really looking forward to demonstrating at this year's show."
