Caron Announces Internal Promotions to Expand the Service and Engineering Departments
(Marietta, OH, February 6, 2012) Caron Products & Services, Inc. is pleased to announce promotions made in the Service and Engineering departments, increasing leadership roles and supporting continual company growth.
Caron proudly names Corey Adams as Director of Service. In his new role, Adams will be responsible for continuing the growth of the national and international service network to assist Caron with its rapidly increasing customer base. Adams brings 20 years of experience at Caron where he most recently served as Equipment Technical Specialist with responsibilities including technical service support, parts sales and applications assistance. He has held a variety of supervisory and production positions in manufacturing at Caron.
"Corey is highly customer focused with exceptional company knowledge and laboratory equipment experience, which makes him ideal for this new role," said Dave Figel, Vice President. "He has been a proven leader at Caron and I look forward to the positive impact he will make in his new position."
Caron's service department includes a full range of technical service, validation, calibration, preventative maintenance, extended maintenance and installation services.
Caron is pleased to appoint Bob Dotterer as Director of Engineering. In his new position, he will lead the engineering department in product development to assist Caron with expanding product offerings and technologies. Dotterer earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from Arizona State University and has previous experience at Honeywell International, Inc.
Dotterer joined Caron in 1999 and most recently served as Applications Engineer. He will continue to perform applications support along with his new responsibilities.
"Bob has demonstrated the ability to lead complex engineering projects and continuously works well with other departments," Figel said. "I'm confident that his skills will allow him to further accelerate Caron's rapidly growing line of new, innovative products while bringing additional focus to developing processes within the engineering department."
