Carestream Advanced Materials to Showcase Innovation, Insight and Success Stories at Touch Panel Korea and Touch Taiwan

See the future of touch - a new 42-inch curved display made from FLEXX Films - at both shows

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Carestream Advanced Materials continues to shape the future of touch with its FLEXX Transparent Conductive Films (TCFs). These innovative silver nanowire-based TCFs are leading the way to next-generation devices that are larger, lighter, flexible and borderless, with superior optics and faster, multi-touch response. Touch designers can get a glimpse into this future - while learning how FLEXX films can turn their ideas into the next big innovation - in Carestream's booth at two upcoming shows in Asia.

FLEXX Films will be on stage at Touch Panel Korea August 19 - 21, 2015 in Booth I15-I16 at the Kintex Exhibition Hall 4,5 in Goyang, South Korea. They will also be displayed at Touch Taiwan August 26 - 28, Booth J1004 at the Taipei World Trade Center, Nangang, Exhibition Hall 1F. At both exhibitions, Carestream will show a new 42-inch curved display made from FLEXX Films that provide the ultimate combination of low resistance, high transmission, extreme flexibility, low cost and environmental stability.

"This is an exciting time for the touch panel industry and touch sensor manufacturers are looking for the right partnership that can help them create next-generation innovations that consumers want," said Paul Herro, general manager for Carestream Advanced Materials. "Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) won't take them into the future because it's too brittle, inflexible and costly. Increasingly, touch designers and manufacturers are turning to FLEXX Films that deliver the ideal performance characteristics they need to move forward and develop new products."

At Touch Panel Korea, Jason Kwon, senior sales manager at Carestream Advanced Materials, will present the vast differences between FLEXX Films and ITO, metal mesh and other silver nanowire transparent conductive films. Kwon's presentation will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 19 in the Kintex Exhibition Hall 4, first technical seminar room. He will also reveal Carestream's roadmap for the ongoing development of FLEXX Films and share recent commercial successes with Carestream's silver nanowire technology.
