Capture All Your Data with dataTaker Data Loggers

CAS DataLoggers Shows You How to Automate Your Alarming

CHESTERLAND OH — At CAS DataLoggers we get calls every day from customers who need to monitor and analyze everything from product temperatures to equipment runtime to entire industrial processes. No matter what type of sensor users need or which communications setup they want to use, we offer users the flagship dataTaker DT80 Intelligent Data Logger as a single solution. As dataTaker's master distributor in North America we know these products and offer free technical support to get your project started ASAP. Give us a call today and see for yourself how dataTaker can cut your costs by notifying you of unsafe temperatures while completely automating your data collection.

The dataTaker DT80 features analog, digital, and serial data recording capabilities, with a dual channel concept allowing up to 10 isolated or 15 common referenced analog inputs to be used in many combinations. These inputs enable connection to most sensors and data measurement sources so that temperature, voltage, current, 4-20mA loops, resistance, bridges, and strain gauges can all be logged and scaled. Current measurements are shown on the built-in display.

Our dataTaker dataloggers can be used for local data acquisition and logging when connected to a PC; for remote unattended data collection connected to a centralized computer via modem or the internet; or as stand-alone devices. Using a network setup, users can remotely monitor the dataTaker DT80 from anywhere in the world using its intuitive web interface. The DT80 also offers built-in support for Modbus RTU communications.

These intelligent data loggers immediately notify users the moment any value goes out of specification, such as when temperature starts to rise and poses a possibly disastrous threat to products and machinery. This single feature can pay for the dataTaker by itself when you consider the production delays caused while waiting for a repair. Meanwhile users can rely on dataTaker's famous durability to provide years of operation, and the logger's large memory stores up to 10 million data points for extended logging sessions.

DT80 users gain a powerful, versatile communications suite including RS232 with modem support, Ethernet, and USB memory stick ports so that users can connect locally, remotely, or over the Internet. The web interface allows users to configure the dataTaker datalogger, access logged data and see current measurements as mimics, or in a list using a web browser. FTP provides data directly to your office over the internet or mobile phone network.

Additionally, FREE user-friendly dEX software is included with all dataTaker dataloggers and comes preinstalled with a Windows Explorer-style graphical interface allowing quick setup and configuration of the logger. This software is configured and run directly from a web browser enabling access either locally or remotely over the Internet. Users can view real-time measurements as mimics or in a list using a web browser. Operators can use any of the logger's built-in communications ports to view dEX, including Ethernet, USB and RS-232.
