Canon Medical Completes Acquisition of Toshiba’s Imaging Systems Division
- Toshiba Imaging Systems will formally become a Canon Medical entity called Video Sensing Division
Tustin, Calif. – Oct. 1, 2019 – The Video Sensing Division of Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. (Tustin, CA - www.us.medical.canon/VSD), today announced
that Canon Medical will complete its acquisition of the Video Sensing Division (VSD), formerly known as TAIS’ Imaging Systems Division (ISD), effective Oct. 1, 2019. Globally, the professional video camera business has been integral to the Japan-based Canon Medical organization since October 2016.
Paul Dempster, director of sales at Video Sensing Division, notes, “We are delighted to be part of the team at Canon Medical. Our customers will continue to have access to the great products, service, and support they’ve become accustomed to. The distribution and authorized service providers for VSD products will remain the same.
