SME Launches Advanced Manufacturing Canada with CME, MEQ and RÃ%AI Partnership
Two-day event located in Montréal to focus on advanced manufacturing
TORONTO – As advanced manufacturing technologies are enabling companies to manufacture goods faster, better and cheaper — four industry organizations are bringing government, academia and businesses together to educate and promote the future of manufacturing. SME, along with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME), Manufacturers and Exporters of Quebec (MEQ) and Regroupement des équipementiers en automatisation industrielle (RÉAI) are débuting a new event — Advanced Manufacturing Canada — in Montréal, Nov. 18-19.
Advanced Manufacturing Canada (AMC), offers the Canadian manufacturing community a focused two-day conference on advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation and robotics, additive manufacturing/3D printing, materials and software. By gathering C-level executives, industry representatives, academia and government under one roof, Advanced Manufacturing Canada’s aim is to educate the manufacturing industry on how companies can produce products faster and less costly, while maintaining quality standards with the implementation of new technologies.
“Canadian manufacturers are under increased pressure to be innovative and productive — advanced manufacturing technologies provide solutions Canadians need and will ensure Canada’s place as a world leader in the industry. Taking place at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, the event provides a unique face-to-face opportunity to discover dynamic technology with interactive exhibits and demonstrations, along with industry networking. Best suited for manufacturing leaders, business owners, engineers, technologists, government and academia looking for new technologies and applications to improve manufacturing; AMC provides value across industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical, energy, agri-food, mining, construction, electronics, commercial and industrial equipment to name a few.
