Cadence to Showcase Latest RF Solutions at International Microwave Symposium 2015

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS) today announced that it plans to showcase its Virtuoso® Custom IC platform, Spectre® RF Simulation solution and Allegro® PCB RF solution at the International Microwave Symposium, an annual international meeting for technologists involved in all aspects of radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) and microwave technology. The event will be held from May 17-22, 2015, in Phoenix, Arizona.

Visitors to the Cadence® exhibit in booth 2832 can see the latest advances in Spectre RF technologies for the design and verification of complex RFICs as well as Allegro PCB Designer Analog/RF Option, which significantly shortens the design cycle for integrating RF circuits into mixed-signal printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Demonstrations include:

 • RF IC analysis of two Long-Term Evolution (LTE) channels simultaneously using Spectre RF Simulation

 • Integrating RF PCB circuits quickly, from industry-leading RF design/analysis tools into mixed-signal PCBs

 • Testbenches for wireless communication and networking standards such as LTE and Wi-Fi

 • Advanced S-parameter modeling with broadband SPICE technology

 • Virtuoso Layout Suite for Electrically Aware Design, featuring real-time layout analysis using built-in parasitic extraction engine that instantly evaluates the layout as it is created Cadence is also scheduled present at the IMS 2015

MicroApps theater to cover topics including:

 • Efficient VCO/phase noise simulation across corners, Monte Carlo, and sweeps using advanced oscillator tuning mode

 • Multiple dividers in harmonic balance

 • Advanced S-parameter modeling with broadband SPICE technology

 • Faster triple-beat analysis for receiver design

The IMS 2015 exhibition is from May 17-22, 2015. A detailed schedule of Cadence activities at the event can be found on the Cadence website at
