Bunting® Expands Printing Products Group


NEWTON, KS - Mark Duke has joined Bunting® Magnetics Co., which is headquartered in Newton, Kansas, as a Territory Manager for our Printing Products group and Flexible Die Division.

"Mark brings an incredible range of experience to our team," stated Mike Wilks, General Manager for the Flexible Die Division for Bunting®. "He understands the printing process from start to finish. He has operational, management and sales experience that allows Mark to understand the needs of our customer's whole operation. That type of person is hard to find and will be valuable to our customers."

Mr. Duke brings over 16 years of expertise in the printing industry. This includes hands-on pressroom operation, operational management and outside sales positions. Mark began his career as a Pressman and has extensive experience with flexo, rotogravure, screen and letterpress equipment. His management background extends into flexible packaging printing services for multiple industries including the food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, apparel and consumer goods markets. This also includes high-end folding carton and promotional printing. Prior to joining Bunting®, Mark served as a New Business Development Manager for an international manufacturer of rotary tooling for the printing and converting industry.

As Territory Manager for Bunting®, Mr. Duke will be responsible for the sales of our industry-leading magnetic printing cylinders. This includes our X-treme(TM) Series Die-Cutting Cylinders product line. These cylinders are precision machined to the closest tolerances in the industry to achieve the high quality made possible by today's close-tolerance dies. Also, Mark will handle the sales of our new flexible die product line. The Flexible Die Division was launched in September, 2008 and is solely focused on the production of 100% Chemically Hardened Flexible Dies. The area that Mark will cover includes the eastern half of the United States excluding Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

Our new Flexible Die facility and equipment allows Bunting® to produce all types of flexible dies from simple designs to intricate die patterns. Also, Bunting® can produce stamp dies that are machine sharpened and chemically hardened. All of the state-of-the-art equipment has been designed to manufacture dies in widths up to 30 inches.

Since 1959, Bunting® has been successfully serving manufacturers of plastic components, metal products, printing labels, food products, automobiles and electronic equipment. Bunting's main manufacturing facility is in Newton, Kansas.
