Budnick Converting Presents Donation to the Joshua Chamberlain Society


Columbia, IL, 10/17/2016 - On Friday, October 21st, Budnick Converting presented a check for $2,000 to the Joshua Chamberlain Society at Budnick’s main office in Columbia, IL The donation will help provide long term support to veterans from the greater St. Louis area that sustained permanent combat injuries fighting the long war on terror for our nation.



The Joshua Chamberlain Society ("JCS") is a grass roots, St. Louis-based, 501(c)(3) federally tax exempt charity that was formed with the mission of providing long term support to veterans from the greater St. Louis area. JCS is committed to providing support to the injured veterans and their families anywhere from five to twenty years. The support comes in the form of gifts, tuition assistance, monetary donations, and any means necessary to improve the veteran’s quality of life.



The monetary donation presented to JCS was raised by Budnick employees during a recent customer service week. Employees were divided into several teams, participating in spirit days and competitions to help raise money for their charities. JCS was the charity chosen by the winning team and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) was chosen by the second place team. A donation of $1,000 will be given to JDRF.
