Bud NEMA Enclosure Named Technology Award Winner by ECN Magazine

CLEVELAND - February 6: Bud Industries, Inc., the leading manufacturer of electronic enclosures, announced that its new NEMA-rated enclosure, the CN Series, is an ECN 2006 Technology Award Winner.

ECN Magazine published the technology award winners in its December 15, 2006 issue. These are the new products that ECN editors chose to cover in 2006 and were most accessed online by readers. The CN Series enclosure, a die-cast aluminum box suited for use as instrument cases, meter cases and junction boxes in marine and wash-down environments, was named a winner in the Packaging and Interconnects section.

Unlike other die-cast enclosures, the CN Series has optional mounting flanges that are molded to the base of the enclosure, rather than the lid. This means the unit can be opened without the need to detach it from the wall. Technicians can open the enclosure in half the time, reducing service time and avoiding the risk of damage to connections.
