BSA Conference Table Registration Opens February 1st

Glen Ellyn, IL-Registration for the Conference Table Sessions at the Bearing Specialists Association (BSA) 2012 Annual Convention, April 29-May 1 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa, Bonita Springs, Florida, opens February 1, 2012. Registration is facilitated online via a link from the 2012 Convention website, www.bsaconventions.org.

Conference Tables offer participants a unique opportunity to pre-schedule and plan for face-to-face meetings between distributors and manufacturers to address bearing industry concerns and resolve business problems, making this session one of the most valuable aspects of any BSA Annual Convention business program. Convention attendees have found these short, 20-minute meetings to be particularly productive since they eliminate additional investments in travel and time, and the schedule accommodates more than one meeting.

Distributors will have the opportunity to sign up for eight, twenty-minute appointments online with the manufacturers of their choice until April 29th. Distributors wishing to schedule Conference Table Sessions on-site, may do so but must bring their own computer to register on-line.

Online Conference Table Registration is available to all those who have registered to attend the 2012 Annual Convention. All distributors planning to attend the Conference Tables Session are encouraged to register as soon as possible to assure that they obtain appointments at their desired times. Distributor companies with multiple attendees are encouraged to visit a greater number of manufacturer tables by splitting their attendees into two or more groups rather than making only one appointment in each time slot for the entire distributor company. Distributors are also encouraged to let manufacturers with whom they have made appointments know what they expect to discuss with the manufacturers.

Manufacturer companies will be assigned a Conference Table at the time the first person from the manufacturer company registers to attend the 2012 BSA Convention. It is important that your company have at least one registrant prior to February 1, 2012 so that registered distributors can make appointments for your company's Conference Table beginning February 1.

In addition to the Conference Table Sessions, BSA's 2012 Annual Convention, Technology Drives Productivity, offers the association's most dynamic business program to date, up-to-the-moment presentations by well-known futurist Daniel Burrus; Guy Blissett, Wholesale Distribution Lead, IBM Corporation, and the author of Facing the Forces of Change: Decisive Actions for an Uncertain Economy; Matthew Bookspan of Blacktip IT Services; and Brian Eccles, Associate Partner with IBM Global Business Services. The business program also includes important industry updates from BSA and ABMA. Throughout these sessions and a number of planned social and sporting events, attendees will have the advantage of unparalleled networking among industry peers.

BSA is the "must belong to organization for authorized bearing distributors." An international service and educational organization of distributors representing a total of almost 100 companies distributing factory-warranted ball-, roller-, and anti-friction bearings and invited manufacturers of bearings and related products, the association's mission says, "BSA is the forum to enhance networking and knowledge sharing and promote the sale of bearings through authorized distributors."
