Brunson returns as Exhibiting Tech Partner in The Zone, Hexagon’s Technology Expo
Kansas City, MOÂ -- Brunson Instrument Company today announced they will be exhibiting their precision line of metrology accessories at the HxGN Live, Hexagon Metrology’s Annual Conference, from June 3-6, 2013, at the MGM Grand Resort in Las Vegas. The company will showcase their new Target Holder Kits, available in metric and inch collections. Operators of laser trackers, theodolites and other portable measurement devices utilize Brunson’s certified and serialized target holders for metrology applications. These products and more will be exhibited in their booth located in The Zone, HxGN LIVE’s technology expo, in the Marquee Ballroom.
Packaged in a foam-lined, waterproof case, a standard Target Holder Kit offers an assortment of target holders and accessories for 0.5" and/or 1.5" diameter Retro-reflectors (SMR, CCR, TBR, etc.). Brunson Instrument manufactures a wide range of target holders such as flat nest, pin nest, vector, corner, reference mounts and more. Target holders are integral to the data acquisition process, making it easier to measure standard geometric features such as holes, edges, corners, surfaces, diameters, and hidden points. Brunson will also customize target holders to meet a customer’s unique specifications.
Brunson Instrument precision manufactures the heat-treated and hardened stainless steel target holders, then laser etches each one with a part number and serial number for improved component management and identification. The serial number and the NIST-traceable measurements are documented in a certificate, with a digital copy available online for 24/7 access and reporting.
The company will also demonstrate their EasyConnect™ instrument mounting system, the newest addition to their line of instrument stand accessories. Using the Brunson EasyConnect, a technician can instantly connect and disconnect a laser tracker, theodolite, articulating arm or optical instrument to/from a standard 3 ½”-8 external threaded mount. The unique, quick-action locking lever eliminates the sometimes awkward spinning of an expensive instrument to attach or remove it from a stand. All Brunson products are Made in the USA.
