Bradken's Chehalis Facility Upgrades its Manufacturing Capabilities

Bradken is a leading supplier of differentiated consumable and capital products to the global resources, energy and
freight rail industries. One of the premier foundries in North America, Atlas has been producing high integrity steel
castings for customers around the world for more than a century. Bradken - Atlas has a rich history in the energy
products market possessing the technical tools and infrastructure to manufacture the most challenging steel and stainless
steel castings under the most intense specifications.

Bradken - Atlas is one of only a few foundries remaining in North America that is qualified to make castings for nuclear
applications. State-of-the-art technology is employed to produce complicated components with stringent metallurgical
and quality requirements. Our Washington facilities are not just foundries; we have evolved into a manufacturer of major
metal components and value added offerings.

Bradken - Atlas' Chehalis facility has recently qualified several welders to the MIL-STD-248D specification, which enables
the facility to not only cast military products, but to perform complete upgrades and ship products directly to customers.

Chehalis focuses on smaller, more complex designs and metallurgical alloys in the size range of 50 - 1,000 pounds with
the minimum heat size being only 500 pounds.

Chehalis currently maintains impressive in-house capabilities, including:

o SNT-TC-1A Level III;

o a technically skilled metallurgy team;

o welders qualified to MIL-STD-248D; and

o ASME section IX.

These capabilities, in addition to the benefit of having the Tacoma foundry and machine shop located just 45 miles away;
ensure that Bradken - Atlas is able to offer a complete solution to its customers. Through the utilization of modern
technologies such as solidification modeling, CMM layout of patterns and castings, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW, SMAW
welding processes and an "in house" spectrograph, this facility can easily meet customer demands for both mission
critical components and time sensitive responsiveness.

In the month of September, the Chehalis facility will complete the upgrade of its ISO 9001 quality management system
registration to meet ASME requirements. Chehalis, now an approved materials organization will obtain ASME QSC-204
for the manufacture and supply of nuclear components, allowing Bradken to further enhance its services to the energy
market.
