Bosch's experts to speak at Achema congress

Bosch Packaging Technology will be launching new packaging and processing technologies for pharmaceutical applications at Achema 2006. As the leading global provider of equipment to the pharmaceutical industry, Bosch will be presenting a full range of integrated solutions for areas as diverse as production, validation, and packaging. The innovations will be showcased in Bosch's "Pharma Solutions Like You Have Never Seen Before" display in Hall 3.1, stand F2-J11.
"At Achema 2006, we are demonstrating impressive examples of solutions that help the pharmaceutical industry effectively create, validate, and market products all over the world," said Friedbert Klefenz, President Bosch Packaging Technology. "In addition to presenting new technologies, our experts will be on hand to answer questions and provide perspectives on technology and trends that impact pharmaceutical business worldwide."

Bosch Pharma Liquid, Bosch Pharma Solid, Moeller & Devicon, Sigpack Systems and Tevopharm are the five Bosch Packaging Technology companies presenting new technology for pharmaceutical markets at Achema. Sigpack Systems will be introducing a new complete line for blister packages which includes a horizontal flow wrap system with robotic feeding and end of line secondary packaging. New technologies from Bosch Pharma Solid include a new capsule filling machine for micro-dosing applications, a new weighing system for tablets, and a new cartoning machine for blister wallet applications. Bosch Pharma Liquid will be presenting five technologies consisting of two new filling machines for pre-sterilized syringes, a new machine for powder filling, a new integrated filling/isolator/processing machine and a new fill and close machine for liquid pharmaceuticals. Finally, Denmark-based Moeller & Devicon will be introducing a new inspection system for pharmaceutical applications.

Experts from Bosch will also be addressing pressing industry trends at the Achema 2006 Congress.
