The delegation also visits the Juffali help centre for mentally disabled to reinforce the company's strong commitment for civic-oriented initiatives in the region

Feb 28, 2011 - Bosch announced that senior management officials from Germany led by Peter Tyroller, Member of the Board of Management who also oversees Marketing and Sales, Original Equipment Sales and the Automotive Aftermarket division, recently met and interacted with dealers and customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the UAE and Qatar as part of an ongoing program to understand the key market challenges in the region. The Bosch senior officials discussed business opportunities, business performance and strategies to boost customer relations during their recent visit.

Joining Mr. Tyroller in the trip were Robert Hanser, President of Automotive Aftermarket; Guercan Karakas, Senior Vice President for Sales to the Independent Aftermarket; and Guido Gring, Sales Director for Middle East & Africa - Automotive Aftermarket.

The delegation first visited various workshops and retailers in Jeddah, KSA, where they were hosted by Bosch dealer Juffali Auto Parts Co. The visitors also stopped by the Juffali help centre for mentally disabled people to reinforce the company's strong commitment to support civic-oriented initiatives in the region. The group proceeded to visit the Bosch regional office and training center in Dubai before heading to Abu Dhabi to meet with their counterparts from Al Fahim Group, Bosch's partner in the UAE. The senior officials concluded their trip to the GCG with a meeting with local representative Nasser bin Khalid & Sons Co. in Qatar.

Robert Hanser said: "The recent trip to the GCC was an excellent opportunity for us to personally see and assess the market situation and to interact and be closer with our dealers and customers. We are pleased with the enthusiasm of our business partners in the region, particularly in KSA, the UAE and Qatar. Bosch has successfully built a strong market base and robust relationship with key market players, so we believe that it is important to conduct regular interaction to further boost our market presence and enhance strategic relations."

Guido Gring concluded: "The Middle East remains a key growth destination for Bosch with the KSA, UAE and Qatari markets acting as key growth catalysts. The recent visit to these countries was very informative and productive as it helped reinforce the confidence and trust of our dealers and customers on the Bosch brand. We will definitely continue to organize similar activities in key markets, which will enable us to develop a wider range of tailor-made solutions for our customers in the region."
