Bodycote Huntington Park Back in Full Operation


MACCLESFIELD (U.K.) - Bodycote, the world’s leading provider of heat treating services, is pleased to announce that its Huntington Park, California facility is now back in full operation for all processes.



After fire broke out at the location on Saturday, September 3, Bodycote personnel responded safely and quickly to ensure continuity of service for customers. Bodycote utilized its local plant network to provide interim back-up capability and support. Just one month later, Huntington Park is operating all heat treat services at full capacity including nitriding, carburizing, vacuum and vacuum oil quenching, endothermic neutral hardening, copper plating, copper stripping and white layer removal.



Bodycote thanks all its personnel, firefighters and investigators for their services and support in ensuring that recovery efforts were safe and expeditious.
