Bobst Group Announces Very Positive Results from the K'2007 Exhibition
The Business Area - Flexible Materials of Bobst Group presented its latest technologies for converting plastic film and other flexible materials at the K'2007 Intl. Plastics Trade Fair in Dusseldorf, Germany from 24th to 31st October.
This included the official launch of the new, compact TITAN ER610 Eco-logical Slitter Rewinder which was demonstrated live throughout the event and which generated a great deal of interest from many visitors to the exhibition - K'2007 broke all records with the largest ever number of exhibitors (3,130 in 19 halls) and visitors (approx. 242,000 over 8 days).
Other products presented included primary and secondary slitting & rewinding from ATLAS, solutions in vacuum web coating & metallizing from GENERAL, flexo printing technology from SCHIAVI and gravure printing and coating & laminating solutions from ROTOMEC. This included the launch of the new ROTOMEC CL 850 high performance duplex laminator which was available for viewing from 22nd October until 9th November at ROTOMEC, in Italy.
All Product Lines received enquiry levels exceeding expectations and several machines were sold during the exhibition, including the new TITAN ER610 and SR8 slitter rewinders and a GENERAL K4000 vacuum metallizer. The Bobst Group stand in Hall 3 was filled to capacity almost every day with customers received from over 70 countries.
The close collaboration between ROTOMEC & REIFENH"USER in extrusion coating technology was the focus of a joint technical seminar for specially invited customers arranged by the two companies and held in the Messe-Dusseldorf Congress Centre during the afternoon of Monday, 29th October. ROTOMEC reported a very successful forum of discussion with many positive enquiries and good contacts made.
