Bob Robinson, Sr., Recipient of IEHA's 2010 Honorary Membership Award

Hamilton, OH - Nov 3, 2010 - The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) is excited to award Bob Robinson, Sr., founder and president of Kaivac, Inc. with the 2010 Honorary Membership Award.

According to IEHA, as the inventor of the No-Touch Cleaning® System, Robinson has contributed to providing equipment to the housekeeping management profession that protects the health of end-users, building occupants, and improves the self-esteem of cleaning workers.

In addition, as chairman elect for the Cleaning Industry Research Institute (CIRI), "Robinson has proven himself to be a leading advocate, encouraging more science in cleaning," says Beth Risinger, CEO/executive director of IEHA. "He has also been very instrumental in promoting Integrated Cleaning and Measurement(TM) (ICM)."

ICM is an open-source system in which "best practices" for cleaning are defined by scientific measurement of cleaning outcomes.

The Honorary Membership Award is a status of membership conferred upon a person, such as Robinson, who has made notable contributions to the housekeeping management profession. The recipient is awarded with complimentary IEHA membership for life.

Past recipients of this prestigious award have included:

o Stephen Swigart, chairman and chief executive officer (CEO) of Spartan Chemical Company Inc. (2002)

o Longtime IEHA member William "Bill" Jones, Sr. (2006)

o IEHA international member Sheila Perera of the United Kingdom Housekeepers Association (2008)

o John Garfinkel, executive director of ISSA (2009).
