Blackwell Plastics Moves to Upgrade Production Assets
Blackwell Plastics of Houston Texas has added three late model injection molding machines to their operation. "The new machines will upgrade the heart of our production in the 80 to 150 ton range. The downturn in the economy has created some great opportunities for financially strong companies to upgrade and put the company in a strong position for the future" says Jeff Applegate, President of Blackwell Plastics. The three Negri Bossi machines are well suited for producing close tolerance parts and handling molds with multiple core pulls. Blackwell Plastics, founded in 1939, operates 30 injection molding machines to 600 tons and 5 extrusion lines for custom profile, rod and tubing.
