BioHiTech Receives Approximately $1.8M in New Food Waste Digester Orders from Carnival Corporation Extending into New Brands and Geographies
Latest Purchase Orders Extends to UK-Based Cunard and Italy-Based Costa Group

("BioHiTech" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: BHTG), a sustainable technology and services company, announced today that it has expanded its relationship with Carnival Corporation ("Carnival") by mutually committing to providing the Company's technology to additional brands and geographies across its fleet. Recent purchase orders received for Revolution Series™ food digesters total over approximately $1.8 million and cover fifteen additional ships, including the first two ships from the United Kingdom-based Cunard Cruises and four from Italy-based Costa Group for their Costa Cruise Line. BioHiTech anticipates fulfilling these orders during the second and third quarters of 2021.

The Revolution Series digesters, equipped with BioHiTech's proprietary data analytics platform provide valuable data, including the weight and volume of food waste digested, the net food waste reduced and the amount of CO2 reduced.
