BioFit Seating Architectural Symbols Now Available Online
BioFit Engineered Products, a leading designer and manufacturer of ergonomic seating and mobile folding tables, now offers downloadable architectural symbols of products from its MVMT™ seating line. Two- and three-dimensional symbols as well as those from the Autodesk building information modeling (BIM) program, Revit, are available through the company’s website to accommodate architects, interior designers and other space planners.
In response to a growing need within the architectural and interior design communities, BioFit added the ability to download 2D, 3D and Revit symbols of models from its flagship MVMT seating line through its corporate website, biofit.com, and directly from its literature fulfillment microsite, biofit.info. The symbols allow designers and specifiers to place dimensional graphics of BioFit MVMT models they source or consider for facilities directly into their floor plans, enabling them and their clients to better visualize how the products will appear in the built environment. According to Ron Buettner, BioFit Director of Marketing, offering the downloadable symbols was a logical step for the company. He explained: “Like most industries, construction planning and facilities design has evolved rapidly from a technology standpoint, with today’s computer-generated prints heavily dependent on BIM or similar dimensional graphics of componentry, furnishings and other products. By proactively providing detailed symbols, we save architects and design professionals time and effort while ensuring their customers get a clear representation of how our MVMT series models look in their layouts.” BioFit does not charge for the architectural symbols and they are emailed directly to those requesting them once the order process at biofit.info is completed.
