BioFit Rolls Out Redesigned Online Seating Configurator and Catalogs
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (September 27, 2018) BioFit Engineered Products, a globally recognized manufacturer of ergonomic seating solutions, recently launched a fully revamped online seating configurator and released two redesigned catalogs for its full and quick-ship product lines, respectively. The new “mychair” configurator enables BioFit website visitors to design and request quotes on models that meet their requirements from BioFit’s full MVMT and Foundation seating lines. The latest version of the full line seating catalog delivers a refreshed aesthetic and is designed to better convey product specifications, while the updated Quick Ship Program catalog introduces the company’s new next-day ship (NDS) and two-day ship (2DS) offerings.
BioFit was at the forefront of digital innovation within the seating industry with the introduction of the “Build-You-Own-Chair” (BYOC) application − the market’s first online configurator – nearly 15 years ago. The BYOC featured select quick-ship models from the company’s Foundation seating line. In 2015, BioFit launched the first iteration of the mychair configurator, allowing users to digitally construct and request quotes on models from the MVMT seating line, which was introduced just prior to the initial mychair release. The new mychair configurator includes standard and optional components for the full MVMT and Foundation seating lines, delivering a comprehensive product offering and significantly enhanced visualization capabilities compared to its predecessor and the BYOC. mychair allows visitors to select chair or stool components based on workspace and performance needs and see how the resulting configurations look. Once a model is configured, the user can download a specification sheet and request a quote. The Quick Ship Program catalog is highlighted by BioFit’s new NDS offering and an updated 2DS – formerly “Ship Now!” product selection.
