It is reflected in the high volume of bilateral trade -- the equivalent of $1.6 billion a day in goods according to the US State Department -- as well as in people-to-people contact.

The breakfast event, took place Wednesday, September 17th at the World Trade Center in Union Station in Kansas City.  Jim Heeter, President and CEO, Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce gave the opening remarks, setting the tone for the discussion.  The audience members were shown the following videos: Video 1: “Canada's Winning Formula” and Video 2: “Let's Keep a Good Thing Growing!” produced by Invest in Canada and Ag Canada.
