Bill Stratton, Adhesives Research, to Chair Economics Committee


William M. Stratton, III is the Vice President and Director of Lean Six Sigma for Adhesives Research, Inc., responsible for leading the Company's corporate wide continuous improvement initiatives. Adhesives Research designs, develops and manufactures a full range of specialty pressure-sensitive, adhesive-coated products for the electronics, healthcare, pharmaceutical, automotive, appliance, pulp and paper, construction, and other industries.

Mr. Stratton has been with Adhesives Research since 1986 and has served in various sales and marketing management functions in the construction, automotive, and electronics markets for the Industrial Business Unit. He was promoted to General Manager for Electronics in July 2000, where he led the establishment of the Company's initial business in Asia, as well as its local sales and technical presence. Mr. Stratton was named Vice President and General Manager of the ARclad® Division in August 2005 where he led the improvement of the division's operating performance. In March 2007, Mr. Stratton was appointed Vice President and Director of Lean Six Sigma to lead the Company's corporate wide improvement initiatives. Prior to joining Adhesives Research, Mr. Stratton spent eight years in technical service and market development positions for the Polymer Chemicals Division of Air Products & Chemicals, Inc., a manufacturer of pressure-sensitive adhesive polymers.

Mr. Stratton holds a B.S. in Chemistry-Chemistry from the University of Hartford, a M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Pennsylvania State University, and a M.B.A. from Lehigh University.
