Bill Hawthorne named Director of Sales for Bastian Material Handling Atlanta!
Bastian Material Handling (BMH) recently expanded their operations into the Atlanta, Georgia area to better serve their Southern customers. The new office will be managed by Bill Hawthorne, former Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Hytrol Conveyor Company.
As a leading system integrator, Bastian offers many services that help companies make the critical decisions necessary to optimize the benefits of material handling systems. The Atlanta office has already had some early success and recent projects have included Coca-Cola, GE, Graphics Packaging and UPS. While at Hytrol, Bill supported the growth of 80 domestic distributors and 23 international distributors. His work over the years developing this distributor network helped double Hytrol's annual sales. Bill also assisted with the promotion of new products through strategic advertising, which helped increase Hytrol's presence in the material handling industry.
Bill is excited to leverage off this experience as he begins his career with BMH Atlanta. He has extensive experience in a wide range of vertical industries and has worked with notable BMH customers including Cabela's, CVS, King's Hawaiian, Lear Seating and Starbucks.
