BI-TORQ Operational Status

Valued customers,

With the COVID-19 pandemic spreading, the world around us is ever changing. On Friday, March 20, the governor of Illinois issued a closure of non-essential businesses but includes an ordinance providing exemptions to businesses and industries deemed essential. BI-TORQ Valve Automation is considered an essential service, supplying products to health care, medical, energy and pharmaceutical industries. BI-TORQ Valve Automation will remain operational and is committed to providing the utmost in customer service and will continue operations from our LaFox, Illinois facility.

First, your safety and that of our other customers and employees, is a top priority. We continue to follow the CDC guidelines and are taking precautions to prevent the spread of the virus. Our operations will continue as we have for nearly 40 years, but with further implementation of health and safety procedures throughout our facility, including disinfecting workstations in the office and shop, and maintaining a safe distance from others.

Currently, many of our office personnel are working remote from home allowing us to process orders via e-mail, phone and our website. Our shop remains open and continues to produce and ship product. However, because this crisis is fluid with government restrictions and mandates evolving daily, our supply chain may be affected, as well as our delivery times. We ask that you be prepared for changes in lead times.

We will manage our business aggressively and continue to provide the best service possible. On behalf of the entire BI-TORQ staff, I want to express our gratitude and thank you for your understanding and support. I want to thank the health care workers, first responders, researchers and volunteers who are doing so much to address this current crisis. Be safe and we wish you continued good health.

Sincerely,

Joe Ippolito
