Bethlehem Burners to Award Bravo, Alpha Torches in New Glassworking Photo Contest
Bethlehem Burners will be hosting a social media photo contest via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, from August 1 through October 1, 2014. The contest, titled Show Us Your Glass 2014, is the company’s third photo contest and will award the top glass artists with a new Bravo and Alpha torch.
“Bethlehem Burners is thrilled to host another photo contest for our social media following and the glassworking community as a whole,” said Rachel Lawrence, marketing director at Bethlehem Burners. “We feel it’s important to recognize all artists, from hobbyists to professionals, and give them the opportunity to share their creativity with other artists. Plus, it’s always a treat for us to see the beautiful pieces our customers are working on!”
The contest invites artists to submit photos of their best glasswork, with no limitation on size, color or category. The grand prize winner will be chosen by Bethlehem Burners, and will receive a brand new Bravo lampworking torch featuring a new scroll base. The second place winner, also chosen by Bethlehem Burners will receive a new Alpha bead making torch. The submission with the highest votes from contest voters will be chosen as the winner of a Fane Favorite, $100 cash prize.
