Berk-Tek and Ortronics/Legrand Announce the Addition of Wiremold(R) Pathways to NetClear 10 Gig Solutions

NEW HOLLAND, Pa. and NEW LONDON, Conn. and WEST HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 9 - Berk-Tek, a Nexans company, and Ortronics/Legrand are pleased to announce a partnership with Wiremold/Legrand to enhance the delivery of NetClear solutions through Wiremold(R) pathway solutions. This partnership enables NetClear to provide extra performance, installation, and ownership advantages including complete integration with Wiremold pathways. Wiremold products are now part of the NetClear solutions and the NetClear warranty in situations requiring specialty pathways and spaces.
With the increasing demands of emerging technologies like 10 Gigabit/s Ethernet over copper, it is more critical than ever that every aspect of the structured cabling system, including pathways and spaces, be designed to ensure the highest channel performance. The new Wiremold(R) 4000 Designer Series(TM) steel raceway is a 10 Gig Ready(TM) system that features high capacity and unique crossover fittings that provide greater space within the raceway to accommodate the larger diameter 10G cable. As a result, when raceway is required, NetClear GTX 10G UTP and NetClear GTS 10G FTP channel solutions can be successfully delivered to the desktop without compromise.
FiberReady(TM) Wiremold pathway solutions maintain the proper 2" bend radius for both copper and fiber cables. Their metallic construction provides a shielding effect to block interference from external noise sources.
