BENZ Inc. to Present German-engineered Aggregates at 2016 IWF Tradeshow
HICKORY, NC — BENZ Inc., a technological leader for aggregates that add functionality and versatility to CNC routers for the wood, plastics and composites industries, will be attending this year’s International Woodworking Fair (IWF), Booth 8173, August 24 –27, 2016, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA.
BENZ manufactures aggregates in Germany and offers sales and support for the United States and Canada through its subsidiary, BENZ Inc., from its Hickory, NC headquarters.
On display at IWF will be the new angle head FLEX D Classic Line offering a maximum input speed of 15,000 rpm while maintaining a smooth and low-vibration operation for excellent processing and cutting qualities. The integrated, easy-to-read display reflects the spindle-axis angle with an accuracy of (0.1°).
Depending on the machine and the application, customers can choose between two alternative designs: the more compact, grease-lubricated Classic Line and the powerful oil-bath lubricated Premium Line. Both versions are designed for heavy milling of solid wood.
BENZ Inc.‘s Horizontal Floating Aggregate Head will route or drill into work piece edges - horizontally. The right angle head which features top tracing and floating capacity, machines at an accurate and repeatable distance from the top surface of the work piece. Inconsistencies in material thickness and surface irregularities are automatically compensated for resulting in highly accurate horizontal machining.
A new Undersurface Trimming Unit allows machining of both sides of a panel without flipping it to save time and increase productivity. The Undersurface Trimming Unit is designed with a head that allows the user to reach in up to 6” from all edges of an elevated work piece for undersurface machining. A flush-mounted ER25 nut and collet system also accommodates the use of drill or router bits during production.
