Belden opens first European office in Germany
Broadview (Chicago), Illinois, October 2005. Universal joint manufacturer Belden Inc. opens its first European branch in Germany. The regional office in Magdeburg offers on-site customer service, has expandable stock capacities and handles inquiries from all over the European continent.
"With our German office, we want to strengthen Belden's presence in Europe. Our target is to offer better customer service in the region and expand our client base and distribution net in Europe," says Ralf Panning, Belden's sales engineer in Magdeburg.
Belden Inc., located near Chicago, manufactures an extensive selection of universal joints and drive shaft assemblies for the packaging and conveying industry, industrial off-highway vehicles, steering linkage, shift linkage, paper converting, steel processing, wood working machinery, drilling and tapping machinery, medical equipment, agricultural equipment and the bowling industry. Belden universal joints are available in heavy duty, high strength, leveler strength and needle bearing, in various materials and platings. Belden's specialty is custom assemblies such as customized hub configuration, length or the complete redesign of joints for specific applications.
