Beckhoff's 'Automation UpDate' Seminar Series is a Hit in North America
Road show of four technical seminars brought Beckhoff product developers and users face-to-face to promote innovation
MINNEAPOLIS, June 18, 2009 - Beckhoff Automation is pleased to report that the company's "Automation UpDate" seminar series was a resounding success in North America. Already a well-proven format in Europe, Automation UpDate seminars came to North America for the first time during the first week of June, 2009 and was met with mass appeal.
The seminars featured technical presentations from six primary product developers and export managers from Beckhoff as well as a unique mix of local machine builders who gave presentations detailing their successes using automation and controls technology from Beckhoff Automation.
The seminar tour made stops in Anaheim, Calif.; San Jose, Calif.; Milwaukee and Toronto to full house crowds at area conference centers. "Automation UpDate has been established not only as a European phenom, but also a North American one," said Graham Harris, President, Beckhoff Automation. "Especially when the business climate continues to be treacherous, it's Beckhoff's job now more than ever to introduce innovative new technologies, such as EtherCAT®, to our customers and help them succeed today and well into the future."
