Beaver Aerospace & Defense Receives Gold-Level Boeing Performance Excellence Award
Livonia, Michigan - Beaver Aerospace & Defense, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of unique and broad-range actuation technologies, today announced that it has received a 2010 Boeing Performance Excellence Award. The Boeing Company issues the award annually to recognize suppliers who have achieved superior performance. Beaver maintained a Gold composite performance rating for each month of the 12-month performance period, from Oct. 1, 2009 to Sept. 30, 2010.
This year, Boeing recognized 558 suppliers who achieved either a Gold or Silver level Boeing Performance Excellence Award. Beaver is one of only 141 suppliers to receive the Gold level of recognition.

Beaver supplies ball splines to Boeing for the CH-47 Chinook helicopter, as well as a camera deployment actuator for the P-8 military aircraft. Beaver's award-winning actuation systems and components (e.g., ball screws and gears) are custom designed to fit virtually any application. And, to top it off, Beaver is the industry leader in on-time delivery, with current performance exceeding 99.8%.
