Bastian Solutions Opens UL-Certified Control Panel Shop
(Indianapolis, IN) Bastian Solutions (http://www.bastiansolutions.com), a global material handling systems integrator, has announced the opening of a new control panel build shop at its corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, Ind., to service the company's current and future clients.
We decided to open this shop for a couple reasons, said Vadim Gitman, Controls Project Engineer at Bastian Solutions. The number one reason was to provide a cost savings to our systems customers, and secondly, it allows us to offer additional controls services to new clients as a stand-alone product.
The shop officially opened in early September, and the controls team has since built six panels: two for Thomas & Betts and one each for International Paper, Southern Wine & Spirits, Case New Holland, and another that will support OPEX's booth at ProMat in January.
Customer response to our panels has been great, continued Gitman. We have been extremely busy trying to keep up with demand.
The panel build shop is UL and cUL certified, and control panels can be built to handle entire systems or specific equipment.
