Barclay Mechanical Highlights Some of its Outstanding Clients
March 8, 2017 - Barclay Mechanical has the opportunity to help build the infrastructure and processing equipment of some pretty incredible companies. Barclay Mechanical recently highlighted a few of its outstanding clients, including Amalgamated Sugars, that creates 3.85 million tons of sugar in a growing season, and Lamb Weston, that makes over 1 million pounds of product a day out of one facility.
Amalgamated Sugars just released a video walking viewers through the intricate process of creating refined sugar from sugar beats, as well as their acute details to conservation and the environment. In one of its growing seasons, Amalgamated Sugars creates 3.85 million tons of sugar. Barclay Mechanical of Manti and Barclay Mechanical of Idaho have worked together to fabricate/install many of the piping, structures, and equipment seen in this video. Some of which include the rotary rock catcher, hopper, diffuser, evaporators and one of our favorite creations, (the tallest structure in the video) the lime kiln which aides in the production of CO2 required for the process. Another Barclay Mechanical client, Lamb Weston, was just featured in a news report highlighting the expansion of a new french-fry making facility. Barclay Mechanical of Utah along with Barclay Mechanical of Idaho were able to be part of this expansion by building a waste-water treatment plant that is part of the new facility. We also helped with the boiler install and piping, process piping, and equipment install on the rest of the project. This new facility will allow Lamb Weston to make over 1 million pounds of product a day, and will give 150 jobs to the tri-cities area in Washington state.
