B&B Electronics Launches Sales Partner Program a "Think Global - Act Local" Strategy


Ottawa, IL - B&B Electronics Manufacturing Company Inc., an industrial serial and Ethernet communications company headquartered in Ottawa, Illinois USA, with EMEA headquarters based in Galway Ireland, has announced the launch of its "Sales Partner Program" to be rolled out globally over the next 12 months. The program is a significant paradigm shift for the company as it aggressively pursues a complimentary go-to-market strategy to its traditional direct marketing model, while continuing to deliver the outstanding customer service and satisfaction it is known for. The Company has already signed contracts with a number of partner companies in North America, Mexico, EMEA, Singapore and China, and has an aggressive plan to have a global network in place by the end of 2009.

Commenting on the official program launch, company CEO Don Wiencek states, "This is one of our most important customer initiatives in 2009 and will deliver increased value to our existing and future customers. Having started in the USA with 28 years of continuous growth, we have expanded outside the USA over the past 7 years and now have a significant global customer base. The sales partner program recognizes the globalization of our business but also the need to act locally in terms of language, culture and business practices so we ensure continued delivery of a world class customer experience when doing business with us."

Although the sales partner program year end goal is aggressive, the company has a strict and thorough selection process that it puts all potential sales candidates through. Mr Wiencek remarks, "The selection process is designed to ensure a strong match with our overall corporate goals and objectives as well as ensuring a candidate's sales and business processes are as good as, or even better, than those of B&B Electronics. With this program we are also looking for key vertical market alignments with our sales partners in markets such as sustainable energy and utilities. B&B Electronics' rugged communication products have a broad adoption in these industrial and mission critical markets.
