Taipei, Taiwan - Axiomtek launches two additions to Nano-ITX platform, the NANO831 and NANO830, both equipped with the latest Cedar Trial platform, Intel® Atom(TM) dual core processor with the Intel® NM10 Express chipset. At a mere 120 x 120 mm Nano-ITX footprint, system developers have more opportunities for developing scalable and ultra-compact embedded applications with the low power consumption. Additionally, both industrial-grade motherboards operate on 12V DC power which enables slim computing system design. The NANO831 and NANO830 are well suited for space constrained on demand applications, such as medical healthcare, in-vehicle infotainment, mobile kiosk, mobile gaming, digital entertainment, digital signage, portable POS and more.
NANO831- Fanless, Low-power Intel® Atom N2600 Nano-ITX Motherboard
Fanless design is becoming an essential requirement for critical environments. Considering the booming demands of fanless operation and low-power design, the NANO831 utilizes the low power Intel® Atom(TM) dual core processor N2600 1.6 GHz, and is designed to operate at a very low-power consumption as well as limited space. One DDR3 SO-DIMM on board implements up to 2 GB of system memory. Through an integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 featuring DX9 and OGL 3.0 support, the NANO831 comes with VGA port and 24-bit dual channels LVDS interface with dual-view supported.

In addition to fanless model, the NANO830 is designed to support the Intel® Atom(TM) dual core processor D2550 1.86 GHz with rich I/O and graphics-intensive performance. It is integrated Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3650 engine to support HD-rich content and provide an array of display interfaces including DisplayPort, VGA, and 24-bit dual channels LVDS with dual-view supported. Moreover, it supports a DDR3 SO-DIMM with a maximum of 4 GB of memory.

The high quality and reliable NANO831 and NANO830 come with advanced connectivity including six USB 2.0 ports, two COM ports (RS-232 & RS-232/422/485), dual Gigabit LANs, one SATA-300 port, mainstream CFast(TM) socket, PCI Express Mini card expansion, and HD audio. To ensure reliable operation, both motherboards support watchdog timer. They also meet all requirements for the Windows® 7 OS.
