Avotus Announces Keynote Speaker for Annual Customer Forum October 18, 2007 in San Diego
Well Known Author, Business Strategist Ralph Welborn to Deliver Keynote Address
TORONTO and BOSTON, Sept. 12 / -- Avotus Corporation, the leading provider of Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and eProcurement solutions, today announced that Ralph Welborn, a published author and well- known business strategist, will deliver the keynote address at the Company's Second Annual Customer Forum, which will take place October 18 - 19, 2007, in San Diego, California.
Mr. Welborn is a senior business / IT executive who has built and led global business transformation and systems integration efforts at some of the world's largest management consulting and systems integration firms. Most recently, Mr. Welborn was Senior Vice President of Global Solutions, including Strategy & Systems Integration at KPMG Consulting / BearingPoint, and also served as Managing Partner of Transformation at Unisys, among other positions with a focus on Financial Services, Telecommunications, Media, Manufacturing, and Federal Agencies.
He is also the author of two books - The Jericho Principle (Wiley, 2003), which explores emerging models of business collaboration to create innovation; and Get It Done: A Blueprint of Business Execution (Wiley, 2006), which focuses on aligning the gap between strategic intent and operational reality to drive effective execution. Mr. Welborn is currently working on his third book, Brains Away: The Global Sourcing of Innovation, which will focus on emerging models and capabilities for IP / technology commercialization.
