AuthenTec was presented the award at ITFlorida's fifth annual statewide awards gala held at Disney's Contemporary Resort in Lake Buena Vista on October 30.

Mr. Moody, who co-founded AuthenTec in 1998, was recognized as the individual who has made significant achievements within the Florida IT industry and directly impacted the growth and viability of the Florida IT sector. AuthenTec has led the worldwide adoption of fingerprint sensors and advanced the field of IT by developing small, low-cost, high accuracy fingerprint sensors that provide convenient security for users of PCs, cell phones and other consumer electronic products.
