Austin Hardware & Supply, Inc. Opens Location in Caldwell, ID

(Caldwell, ID) - Austin Hardware and Supply, Inc. has announced the opening of a location in Caldwell, ID. The new location is the company's eighth full-stocking facility. The Caldwell operation consists of two buildings, which will accommodate stocking the company's wide range of industrial hardware products, making daily parcel and truck shipments, and allow for customer pick-up. Mike Hall is the Caldwell warehouse manager.
Austin Hardware is a leading supplier of specialty industrial and vehicular hardware. Products include handles, locks, latches, hinges, hooks, holders, drawer slides, gas springs, fasteners, fenders, rubber bumpers, weatherstrip, edge trims, gasket, sealants, adhesives, and more. Primary industries served include truck body, trailer, specialty and recreational vehicle OEM and repair centers; fire truck, ambulance, rescue and emergency vehicle OEM and repair centers; OEM metal fabricators; and the marine industry.
Doug Caldwell, Western Regional manager says, "This move is important because of the western migration of many cargo and horse trailer manufacturers from established eastern facilities. Caldwell, Idaho is part of a multi-city community that is experiencing a boom that promises more growth in the future." He continues, "Currently, many OEM's are relying on suppliers from the Pacific coast and as far away as Texas or Indiana. From our location, we'll be able to provide the region with next day shipping service, and 2-day service rest of Idaho and most customers in Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming."
In business since 1960, the company also has full stocking locations in California, Georgia, Indiana, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Wisconsin. Austin also owns and operates JPC Fasteners, formerly JPC Specialties, a supplier of standard and specialty fasteners located in Philadelphia, PA.
