ASTM International Sponsors Art Contest, Field Trips for West Conshohocken Summer Park Program

ASTM International has been a longtime supporter of the annual West Conshohocken Summer Program held at the borough’s Keith MacKenzie Park. The program, which runs June 16 through August 22, is open to children and grandchildren of West Conshohocken residents free of charge.

Donations from organizations like ASTM International help facilitate camp activities. This includes the program’s annual art contest, which ASTM sponsors every year. Campers submit their art and are judged based on age groups. In addition to a monetary gift, first-prize winners get their design printed on a t-shirt.

This year, program participants also enjoyed field trips to the Franklin Institute and the Philadelphia Art Museum courtesy of ASTM. In appreciation of ASTM’s longtime support, campers and staff presented a thank you plaque to ASTM’s Leah Hepler, Director of Accounting and Financial Services (shown below).

2014 summer art contest winners pose in their winning design t-shirts with ASTM staff members Jake Palmer, Interactive Media Designer (back row, third from left); Carolyn Power, Graphic Artist (middle, fifth from right); and Leah Hepler, Director of Accounting and Financial Services (middle, fourth from right) and fellow campers and camp staff.
